Introduction

  • Oversee the planning preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform E&IT discipline requirements of the project from yard activities to load out ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded.

What are you going to do

  • Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
  • Ensure that all piping is properly preserved as per approved project specs.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices with contractor.
  • Promote safe working environment by attending TBT, RA and being visible at site.
  • Direct all Piping installation and completion activity to ensure zero carry-over work upon leaving the yard
  • Manages and ensures successful execution of Topsides piping fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
  • To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
  • To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance with all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
  • To review deviations to LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
  • Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation
  • 8 years' experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in an E&IT supervisory position
  • Experience with multinational teams
  • Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
  • Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
  • Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
  • Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
  • Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
  • Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
