Introduction
Oversee the planning preparation and execution of all aspects of the Compression Platform E&IT discipline requirements of the project from yard activities to load out ensuring all key objectives are achieved or exceeded.
What are you going to do
Ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations during fabrication process.
Ensure that all piping is properly preserved as per approved project specs.
Share lessons learned and best practices with contractor.
Promote safe working environment by attending TBT, RA and being visible at site.
Direct all Piping installation and completion activity to ensure zero carry-over work upon leaving the yard
Manages and ensures successful execution of Topsides piping fabrication project components to meet prioritized objectives (Safety, Quality, Schedule, and others, as appropriate).
To supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to the piping fabrication, Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning to ensure that it complies with contractual requirements, project documentation and applicable International Standards.
To check the constructability aspects, as well as the compliance with all technical requirements, of the deliverables provided by the Engineering Team Contractor.
To review deviations to LNG construction standards for comments with Contractors / Subcontractors input, to deliver a consistent dossier (documents, materials, procured and fabricated items, precom/com dossiers, as built …) for the construction activities.
Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required.
Essential skills and knowledge
Diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation
8 years' experience of large offshore decks/topsides/living quarters in an E&IT supervisory position
Experience with multinational teams
Good knowledge of Project Execution procedures and field management and techniques including fabrication, welding, lifting, mechanical testing and completions.
Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies.
Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope.
Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope.
Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc.
