Introduction

This global ocean-infrastructure leader is looking for a Senior Commissioning Enfgineer You'll be part of an organisation that doesn't just deliver world-class offshore infrastructure-it helps shape the future of energy. Working from Rotterdam, on a 12 month contract (renewable) you'll contribute to complex, high-impact projects

What are you going to do

  • Execute and document commissioning activities in line with project planning, safety requirements, and industry standards

  • Coordinate system testing, completion, and handover processes

  • Identify and resolve commissioning challenges, proposing practical and innovative solutions to maintain schedules

  • Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures, checklists, and schedules

  • Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and ensure systems are tested, certified, and ready for safe operation

  • Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across commissioning activities

Essential skills and knowledge 

Experience

  • Relevant experience within the construction or energy industry

  • Solid understanding of construction and commissioning management processes within your discipline

  • Practical experience managing and leading teams on site to ensure smooth and safe operations

  • Concept Development

  • Systems Engineering

  • Construction, Commissioning & Quality Strategy
