Introduction

On behalf of our client - Chevron Australia, one of the World's Leading Integrated Energy Companies, Brunel is presently sourcing a dynamic Senior Planner to join the Jansz-lo Compression (J-IC) Project Team. You will work across multiple scopes of work delivering efficient and standardised Planning outcomes, processes, systems, tools and deliverable. The position will be based at Chevron's Corporate CBD premises.

What are you going to do 

The focus of your work will encompass:

  • Logical Planning and Scheduling of work scope activities
  • Schedule Analysis
  • Schedule Trending
  • Monthly reporting coordination and support
  • Schedule Management of Change
  • Schedule Contingency Management
  • Progress and Performance Measurement
  • Schedule QA/QC
  • Maintenance of Schedule Benchmarks across the scopes
  • Schedule Risk Management including Risk Analysis

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Relevant degree qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Onshore & Offshore Oil & Gas industry supporting upstream/subsea facilities, well programs and downstream facilities
  • Demonstrated high degree of technical skills in the following areas: planning and scheduling and analysis (including probabilistic risk analysis)
  • Experienced and knowledge supporting Major Capital Projects
  • Demonstrated planning and reporting software experience - ie Primavera 6
  • Advanced experience with MS Excel and Power BI preferable
  • Possess a strong, moral and ethical mind set with the ability to create a safe, diverse and inclusive environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and ability to deal with conflicting deadlines
  • Ability to mentor others
