Introduction

We are currently seeking an Application Engineer who will be responsible for but not limited to, implementing the Asset Performance Management platform, InSight, across various water treatment applications, such as Reverse Osmosis, Drinking Water Ultra Filtration plants, Membrane Bioreactor wastewater facilities, Cooling Towers, Boilers, and Wastewater plants.

What are you going to do 

  • The Applications Engineer will be responsible for the implementation of the Asset Performance Management (APM) platform, InSight, for various water treatment applications including Reverse Osmosis, Drinking Water Ultra Filtration plants, Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) wastewater plants, Cooling Towers, Boilers, and Wastewater plants.
  • Provide expert remote technical support to Field Service Representatives, Account Managers, and customers to enable deployments, configurations, and troubleshoot data logging to ensure data connectivity and quality.
  • Support the lifecycle of digital services including account/user management, reporting, alarms, connectivity troubleshooting, and other maintenance activities.
  • Respond to service requests within specified SLAs.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure team effectiveness and consistency.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team that includes Field Services, PLC automation, process engineering, electrical engineering, controls engineering, and project management to deliver InSight projects.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Science (or equivalent field) from an accredited university or college.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates self-motivation, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Can work collaboratively and energetically with remote individuals and teams to support existing and new customers.
  • Troubleshooting skills on device hardware and software.
