An exciting opportunity for an experienced ITP Coordinator to support the integration and testing of critical systems across multiple defence vessels.

Join a dynamic team focused on quality management and compliance within a large-scale defence program. You'll coordinate installation testing activities, ensuring alignment with internal processes, defence regulations, and industry standards.

About this role

  • Coordinate and track vessel installation and test events, ensuring they align with overall project milestones.
  • Support the Quality Team in executing installation and testing activities across systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure all work complies with internal processes, DNV, and defence regulations.
  • Manage Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) validation at quality gates and resolve discrepancies proactively.
  • Monitor performance and functionality of key ship systems during build and installation phases.
  • Troubleshoot ITP-related issues, working closely with engineers, production teams, and quality stakeholders.
  • Maintain the ITP matrix and ensure version control, updates, and feedback integration are managed effectively.
  • Track and close out non-conformances and installation issues across vessels.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and test coordination.
  • Provide clear, regular updates to internal stakeholders and project managers

Is this you?

  • Minimum Year 12 education; trade or tertiary qualifications in engineering, business, or project management desirable.
  • 5+ years' experience in change or quality management within large-scale or defence projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ship systems, defence equipment, and vessel installation procedures.
  • Proven background in managing installation and test programs within the defence shipbuilding industry.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and defence maritime standards.
  • Proactive mindset with strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to handle technical complexity, navigate shifting priorities, and drive resolution under pressure.
