Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate process capabilities.
Manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities with suppliers.
Investigate non-conformities, coordinates root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions.
Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.
Review and approve supplier documentation, including control plans and inspection reports.
Supports the development and qualification of new suppliers and materials.
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, purchasing, production) on supplier-related quality topics.
Monitors supplier performance metrics (PPM, delivery reliability) and drives improvement plans.
Support customer audits and prepares relevant supplier quality documentation.

Essential skills and knowledge

Required knowledge of tools: such as APQP, PPAP, experience with process verifies at suppliers
Advanced knowledge of technical documentation
Experience in automotive in the same or similar position is a big plus
Secondary education in technical engineering is advantage
Knowledge of second language (English, German) is advantage
