What are you going to do 

We have a current opportunity for a Software Architect on a temporary basis. The position will be based in the Perth CBD. For further information about this position please apply.

The Solution Architect plays a critical role in analysing requirements, designing solutions that extend and enhance existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Solution Architects, development teams and verification teams to ensure detailed designs are produced in line with the solution design and meet defined quality standards.
  • Ensure safety and security are incorporated in the detailed design phase.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the development process, including design support to address bugs and defects.
  • Create detailed system architecture diagrams, including component interactions and data flows.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Linux, C++, C# ASP.NET, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes or relevant technologies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing complex software solutions.
  • Understanding of control theory, functional safety, safety in design, and security in design, are highly desirable.
