What are you going to do 

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to support offshore and LNG-related projects, focusing on installation, commissioning, and maintenance of telecom and integrated systems.

This role is suited for a senior engineering professional with strong hands-on experience across telecom, electrical, and automation systems in marine or offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, testing, and commissioning of telecom systems including: PABX, IP Telephony (Cisco) CCTV, PAGA systems V-SAT and network infrastructure
  • Support integration of telecom systems with electrical and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults across telecom and IT networks
  • Coordinate with vendors and project teams on upgrades and modifications
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and commissioning records
  • Support system upgrades, drydock activities, and offshore installations
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical / Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years relevant experience in: LNG Vessel offshore / marine environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of: Telecom systems (PABX, CCTV, PAGA, networks) Electrical and automation systems
  • Experience with commissioning, upgrades, and system integration
  • Familiar working in multinational environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

Preferred

  • Experience with HV systems, automation platforms (ABB, Siemens, Kongsberg, Honeywell)
  • Background as ETO / Telecom Engineer in LNG offshore vessel
