Introduction

This is a rare opportunity for a senior mining and capital equipment account manager to take responsibility for the key accounts portfolio.

Our global client has a fast growing portfolio of mining solutions, from haul trucks and excavators to drills and aftermarket support. You will develop and execute strategic account plans to retain and expand business with key clients.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to retain and grow business with major mining clients, ensuring alignment with their operational and sustainability goals.
  • Build deep, long-term relationships with procurement, operations, and technical teams across key mine sites, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine account strategies and identify new business opportunities.
  • Partner with technical and product support teams to deliver tailored equipment solutions and responsive post-sales service.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing frameworks, and service agreements with a focus on lifecycle value and mutual commercial success.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings, strengthening brand presence and market credibility.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Extensive experience in mining, OEM, or heavy industrial sectors
  • Established Tier-1 mining network within Western Australia
  • Experience in capital equipment, fleet strategy, or asset lifecycle management
  • Ability to develop long-term account plans, analyse market data, and adapt strategies in a dynamic, competitive landscape.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating with a high degree of independence
