Our Energy client is seeking an experienced Lead Project Engineer to spearhead operations and coordinate maintenance for a prototype green-fuelled vessel on a global voyage.

What are you going to do 

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations and in-port maintenance campaigns for a revolutionary green-fuelled vessel.
  • Manage vendor packages, operational contracts, and project delivery workflows.
  • Oversee international supply chain and logistics, cost estimation, and budget management.
  • Conduct workshops and present to both specialist technical groups and public audiences.
  • Supervise site operations, including permits-to-work, JHA/TBT, and interface management with contractors.

Essential skills and knowledge 

What we're looking for:

  • Considerable experience in offshore projects, process operations, or marine systems.
  • Hands-on experience in shipyard or offshore process commissioning and offshore processing facilities.
  • Proficient in cost control, schedules, reporting, and approval workflows.
  • Expertise in LNG/LPG transfer, storage, and delivery systems.
  • Knowledge of marine class/flag regulations and process plant design codes.
  • Strong HSE skills with a focus on risk-based decision-making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with multidisciplinary teams across global locations.
