What are you going to do 

In this role, you will:

  • Create PCB layouts that meet functional, quality, and cost requirements in close collaboration with electrical designers.
  • Ensure manufacturability and testability by aligning your designs with industrial standards and engaging with production and procurement teams.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by implementing the latest layout technologies and keeping your knowledge up to date with developments in the industry.
  • Take ownership of the entire layout process, from concept through industrialization-ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and at the highest standards.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • MBO++ or HBO degree
  • Several years of PCB/PCA design
  • Toolset experience, preferably ZUKEN CR8000
  • Proficiency in digital, analog and power lay-out design
  • Understanding bare board and assembly manufacturing flows
  • Knowledge of EMC, EMI, SI, PI aspects of printed circuit boards
  • Knowledge of technologies available in the industry like HDI, COB, CSP, Rigid/Flex, Flex design
  • Knowledge of international standards, like IPC
  • Proactive with excellent communication skills in English
