Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Controller / Commercial Controller to join our Client's Finance Team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in commercial or project controlling, or contract management. This role will support the Head of Field Service in managing finance operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to meet financial targets.
  • Field Service Cost Preparation: Prepare the Field Service and Tools cost for each Field Service job package and ensure timely submission to the Project Management team.
  • Documentation: Ensure proper and timely documentation for each Field Service job package.
  • Contract Management: Assist in managing contracts, ensuring compliance with financial terms and conditions, and support negotiations as needed.
  • Productivity Reporting: Prepare productivity reports for the Field Service team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within finance operations and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, as well as company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA Australia or CA Singapore qualification is preferred but not required.
  • 2-3 years of experience in commercial or project controlling, or contract management. External or internal audit experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Additional Info:

Hybrid role based 3 days office and 2 days WFH
