To conduct the corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of all Electrical systems in Dolphin onshore & offshore Plants.
Receive, investigate, and resolve complaints related to Electrical problems.
The major Electrical System are:
Switchgears- 33KV Switchgears, 6.6KV Switchgears, Low voltage switchgears installed all over the plant, AC&DC UPS systems, High Voltage and Low Voltage Motors, Emergency Diesel Generators (EDG), Steam Turbines Generators AVR panels. Turbo-Expanders AMB panels, PDCS & Load shedding System, Power Transformers, HPVD (high partial voltage Discharge) monitoring system

What are you going to do
Troubleshooting the above-mentioned Electrical systems and other Electrical activities of assigned areas and facilities in Ras Laffan gas production plant, offsite area and offshore facilities in an efficient and cost-effective manner, as assigned by the Line Manager.
Plan, coordinate, support and follow up Electrical support services offered to operations, Field Maintenance and other departments.
Conducting the corrective and Preventive maintenance related to Electrical Systems.
Support Technical Support for Modifications, minor projects in planning, execution and supervision of the works. Participate in commissioning of electrical systems as required.
Review and discuss work progress, performance and related issues with line manager and ensure systematic and consistent implementation of work methods and procedures used in maintenance and engineering recommending improvements and updating SAP/CMMS systems.
Receive, investigate, and resolve complaints related to electrical system problems.
Investigate Electrical incidents and prepare investigation reports and recommendations as assigned by the line Manager.
Identify and recommend requirements for specialized contractor work and participate in the preparation of job specification/job scope of contracts assisting in bids evaluation as required.
Complies with all company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe and if in doubt, consults supervisor/manager before proceeding.
Reports all accidents, incidents or near misses to supervisor/manager or to the QHSE Department if supervisor/manager is not available.
Performs other similar or related duties as assigned.
Essential skills and knowledge
Bachelor degree in Electrical engineering (or a similar field related to Electrical).
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Electrical systems Maintenance, Commissioning in Process industry.
The experience should encompass all or most of the systems listed above
Specific knowledge and hands on experience in the following fields of Electrical Systems below:
