Introduction

As an Electrical Designer, you will play a key role in the detailed design of substation packages, contributing to the success of the Pilbara Transmission Project (PTP). Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager/Lead Electrical Designer, you will work collaboratively with a team of engineers to produce detailed designs and deliverables for the High Voltage (HV) system, Low Voltage (LV) system, and Protection Systems for the substation packages.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Experience:

  • Electrical Drafting/ Engineering/ Trade Qualification
  • Microstation 2D or similiar
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the design of HV and LV systems for substations, including protection and control systems.
  • Design experience with Switchrooms, Control Panels, Control Systems preferered
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team.
