What are you going to do
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate coating operations on FPSO structures, including surface preparation, application, and inspection processes.
- Ensure all coating activities comply with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Inspect surfaces before and after coating applications to guarantee proper adhesion and quality.
- Manage coating materials inventory and ensure proper storage and handling.
- Lead and mentor coating crews, providing training and technical guidance.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, quality control, and safety teams.
- Monitor daily progress and prepare reports on coating work status and productivity.
- Identify and resolve coating-related issues promptly to minimize delays.
Essential skills and knowledge
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in coating supervision on offshore or FPSO projects.
- Strong knowledge of coating types, surface preparation methods, and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., NACE, ISO, SSPC).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging offshore environments.
