We are partnering with a global oil & gas business to source a Senior Environmental Advisor - CCS for a major Perth-based carbon capture and storage project. This specialist contract role will support offshore approvals, sea dumping permits, and preparation of a CO₂ sequestration permit application under the Environment Protection (Sea Dumping) Act 1981.
Working within the Environment Approvals & Compliance function, you will take a lead role in preparing high-quality regulatory documentation for a significant CCS project. You will act as the primary author for the sea dumping permit application, integrating technical inputs from across subsurface, engineering, environmental, and project teams.
This role requires someone who can operate confidently in a complex operator environment, manage competing stakeholder inputs, and deliver clear, robust documentation aligned with relevant legislation and guidance.
