Introduction
On behalf of our Client, a Tier 1 Mining Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a SAP Asset Readiness Specialist responsible for supporting the project delivery team and collaborating with Asset Owners. This will be a six month contract located in the Perth CBD.
About this role
Reporting to the Operational Readiness Superintendent, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborate with the Project Delivery Team to understand the project scope and schedule
- Liaise with Asset Owners to clarify operational readiness activities, coordinate identified gaps, and provide regular progress updates until handover.
- Work closely with Central Support functions including Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & later Management, Engineering, and Reliability ensuring adherence to corporate standards and guidelines
- Conduct spares criticality assessments, cataloguing and stock holding with the Site Maintenance & Engineering Team and Central Asset Management Team in line with Maintenance Philosophy
- Create or update SAP function locations, equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans, maintenance items and tasklists, following Maintenance Philosophy and relevant legislation including FMECA
- Create technical documents relating to strategies, tactics and information
- Lead and facilitate meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Provide regular progress reports while actively managing schedules and budget
Is this you?
- Previous experience in Operational Readiness, Asset Management OR project delivery for major projects
- Experience with SAP configuration, equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans and tasklists
- Knowledge of Maintenance Philosophy and FMECA
- Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills
- Ability to manage schedules and budgets while maintaining focus on Operational Readiness deliverables
