Introduction

On behalf of our Client, a Tier 1 Mining Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a SAP Asset Readiness Specialist responsible for supporting the project delivery team and collaborating with Asset Owners. This will be a six month contract located in the Perth CBD.

About this role

Reporting to the Operational Readiness Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with the Project Delivery Team to understand the project scope and schedule
  • Liaise with Asset Owners to clarify operational readiness activities, coordinate identified gaps, and provide regular progress updates until handover.
  • Work closely with Central Support functions including Maintenance Processes & Systems, NPI & later Management, Engineering, and Reliability ensuring adherence to corporate standards and guidelines
  • Conduct spares criticality assessments, cataloguing and stock holding with the Site Maintenance & Engineering Team and Central Asset Management Team in line with Maintenance Philosophy
  • Create or update SAP function locations, equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans, maintenance items and tasklists, following Maintenance Philosophy and relevant legislation including FMECA
  • Create technical documents relating to strategies, tactics and information
  • Lead and facilitate meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Provide regular progress reports while actively managing schedules and budget

Is this you?

  • Previous experience in Operational Readiness, Asset Management OR project delivery for major projects
  • Experience with SAP configuration, equipment masters, BOMs, maintenance plans and tasklists
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Philosophy and FMECA
  • Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills
  • Ability to manage schedules and budgets while maintaining focus on Operational Readiness deliverables
