For our client in the Defensie en leger industry, we are looking for a Software Verification Engineer to join their engineering team focused on advanced sensor systems. The role involves developing and validating real-time software solutions for critical applications, working within an Agile/Scrum framework.

Functieomschrijving

As a Software Verification Engineer, you're responsible for:

  • Conduct testing and validation of software components in a real-time environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and demonstrate software products.
  • Manage test platforms, execute test strategies, and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Identify and document software defects, ensuring resolution through iterative development cycles.

Vereisten

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, preferably in real-time systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Linux, and tools like Jenkins, Maven, and Nexus.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices.
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and English. Dutch language proficiency is mandatory
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability to a dynamic workplace
  • Passion for technology and complex algorithm development
  • Familiarity with sensor systems or defense related software is a plus
