Our client is responsible for designing and producing high-tech machines and machine modules. They are also manufacturing and assembling their machines under one roof. Their high-tech production facility is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to produce any designed product. Their clients are international leaders within the high-tech engineering domain. They are expanding their business, therefore we are looking for an experienced Software Architect.

Functieomschrijving

As a Software Architect at our client, you will define the technical software roadmap in alignment with the overall product and system roadmap. You will provide technical leadership to the team and take responsibility for defining and deploying the architecture throughout the full software lifecycle for complex modules and machines.

Working with a code base in C, C++, Python, or C#, you will ensure a robust foundation to deliver reliable solutions for multiple systems and users. You will collaborate closely with architects and engineers from other disciplines, as well as strategic customers, within a multidisciplinary team.

The software team operates in an agile environment using scrum methodologies. You thrive on tackling new challenges and exploring innovative tools and techniques.

Vereisten

Master’s degree in Informatics or a technical field, with 15 years of experience in a similar role.
Proven expertise in high-tech, complex machine control, real-time software, and operating systems.
Experience in coaching and guiding software teams at a technical level.
Strong background in defining software architectures and ensuring delivery aligns with the defined architecture.
Proficient in Agile software development methodologies.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Configuration Management processes.
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, spoken and written.
