As an Electrical / Software Equipment Engineer, you design, build, and improve test and measurement systems that are essential for safe and reliable production. You work closely with engineers and operators and see the direct impact of your work on the shop floor. You get a high level of responsibility, technical depth, and independence in your role. You make sure systems are safe, efficient, and future-proof.

Functieomschrijving

  • Design, engineer, and document new and existing electrical systems, test boxes, and test setups.
  • Lead projects, including planning, cost control, and progress - often in multidisciplinary teams (electrical, mechanical, and software).
  • Guide engineers during assembly and installation work - and step in yourself when needed.
  • Create schematics, technical drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation according to standards and safety regulations.
  • Translate customer needs into feasible technical and financial specifications.
  • Prepare maintenance instructions, determine maintenance intervals, and define spare part requirements.
  • Act as the key contact for electrical safety and compliance with applicable standards and directives.
  • Report on project progress and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Safeguard quality, traceability, and complete documentation within a regulated environment.

Vereisten

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 4-8 years of experience in a similar role within equipment development or industrial production.
  • Hands-on experience with LabVIEW and/or Python (mandatory).
  • Preferably experience with EPLAN, SAP, Windchill, and/or GitHub.
  • Knowledge or affinity with Industry 4.0, IoT, and robotics is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
  • Solid knowledge of safety standards such as NEN3140, Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, ISO13849, ISO12100, and IEC60825.
