What are you going to do 

Job ScopeResponsible for overseeing maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across company facilities. Manages contractors (Maintenance & Reliability and construction providers), drives performance against safety, cost, and quality targets, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise maintenance teams to deliver safe and high-quality work execution
  • Ensure compliance with SSHE standards (Safety, Security, Health & Environment) for employees and contractors
  • Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance activities to ensure asset reliability
  • Support small projects and Turnarounds (T/A) when required
  • Implement M&R standards, Best Practices, and permitting processes
  • Participate in Risk Based Work Selection (RBWS) for resource optimisation
  • Manage contractor performance, including safety monitoring, evaluation, and onboarding
  • Conduct site safety walkdowns, training, and engagement with contractors
  • Coordinate daily with service providers to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Manage maintenance budgets, review cost estimates, and steward AFEs
  • Ensure compliance with OIMS, CIMS, GPIMS standards
  • Support emergency response and maintenance integrity activities when required
  • Provide reporting on site and contractor safety performance
  • Support multi-site operations and provide coverage across locations where needed

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years’ experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, or process industries
  • Strong background in maintenance, reliability, or field operations
  • Knowledge of maintenance planning, and safety standards
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

  • Main work Location: Pioneer Road (multi-site support required)
  • Work schedule: 5 days, 40 hours/week
  • Contract: 1-year renewable
  • Leave: 7 days annual leave
  • No overtime pay (supervisory role; flexibility required)
